The town was established in 1864. Ventersburg offers its visitors a number of historical & worth while sights. The scenic Allemanskraal Dam offers great recreational facilities. The area surrounding the dam has been converted into the beautiful Willem Pretorius Game Reserve where visitors can discover the natural world within.
